Exquisite hand embroidered Christening Gowns, are just part of our range for children, we also make baby gifts, specialty nursery products and many other beautiful hand-made items. CRADLE TO KINDY DESIGNS is the arm of our business that caters exclusively for the under 5's. All of our products in this range are totally 100% Australian made by us in our own workshop. Most products have a strong hand-made component (be it embroidery or other embellishment) and are exclusive to our brand. Our seamstress has over 40years experience in designing and creating clothes for babies and small children (as well as adults).
Our Christening / Baptismal / Naming Day garments are made exclusively in Swiss Voile, Silk, Silk Organza or other similar beautiful materials, using only the finest ribbons, threads and French laces. Each one is individually constructed with love (as if we were making the garment for our own child/grandchild) and are sure to become treasured heirlooms for generations to come. Many hours are spent meticulously stitching and hand embroidering each garment, so every one is a masterpiece of its own. As every garment is created individually by hand, each one is virtually a one-off original, no two garments are ever identical. Many of our Christening outfits come complete with Bonnet (or hat), shoes and matching bib and the baby's name and Baptismal date is embroidered inside the garment.
For Sydney residents we have a retail outlet in Earlwood from February 2009 to enable you to view the sample gowns in person.
