This is a classic Christening Gown made of fine Silk Dupion and finished with French cotton lace.  The gown has long sleeves with smocked cuff and lace finish.  The Bonnet is finished in the same manner as the sleeves of the gown.  The top of the bodice is embroidered and pintucked, the skirt of the gown is pintucked and finished with embroidered roses.  Matching shoes also have embroidered roses.  The gown is fully open down the back for ease of dressing and is finished with pearl button closures.  All smocking and embroidery is completed using rayon thread.  The gown is available in ivory (as shown) or white silk dupion.
