This Christening outfit (Gown, bloomers, bonnet, shoes and bib) is made of the finest silk organza over a silk underskirt.  The outfit is hand -smocked and hand-embroidered in our workroom and takes approx. 30 hours of hand and machine sewing to fully complete.

The hem of the organza dress, the short sleeves and the bonnet edge, are scalloped and the garment is finished with silk smocking and scattered with embroidered bullion roses.  This particular dress is made in the shorter style and is approximatwely 60cm in length.  The dress is also available as a full length Christening gown.

The dress lining (silk Dupion) shows beneath the scalloped dress hem.

The bloomers, shoes and bib are made of silk Dupion and the bib and shoes are finished with bullion roses to match the gown.
